Tamil’s favorite actor-director Cheran has agreed to act in T.V Chandran’s new Tamil film. What makes the project so exciting for Keralites is that Navya Nair will play the heroine. The film is titled ‘Aadumkunnu’ and shooting commence on November 7.

Cheran had been on demand since ‘Autograph’ became a huge hit. Navya is the rising star in Tamil film as the performance in her first film, ‘Azhakiya Theeye’ was appreciated and her new release ‘Chitambarathil Appu Swami’ is doing exceptionally well considering that it has to compete with Deepavali releases of all major stars in Tamil industry. ‘Aadumkunnu’ also has lot of malayalee actors in it like Sukumari, Kalabhavan Mani, Cochin Haneefa and Indrans. It also has Prakashraj, Manorama and Nanda with strong characters.

Director Lohitadas is slowly drifting away from Malluwood. Though he has done many Malayalam films, his mind is always away in Tamil Nadu since his first love is not Malayalam films, but Tamil films.

Lohitadas has written stories and screenplays of more than 30 Malayalam films and has directed six films. But his first love is Kollywood. He always watches Tamil films, especially the films by directors K. Balachander, Bharthiraaja and Manirathnam. And Ilayaraaja is his favorite music director.
