Bheema, the Vikram, Trisha starrer directed by Lingusamy and produced by A M Ratham is said to have made an impressive

collection in the first week. In Tamil Nadu it has grossed 19 crores and in Thiruvarur alone the film has fetched a record

5 crore. Director Lingusamy is a happy man who opines that if the film has been released solid in time, it would have

cashed in on more profit.



While Bheema is reported to be having good time in Tamil, the release of its Telugu version has got into a rough weather

direct financier S P N Moorthy filing a case against the producer and requesting the court to grant a ban on its release in

Andhra Pradesh. According to him, producer A M Ratham had borrowed a sum of Rs seventy five lakhs French leave him make it* an

assurance of Andhra rights to him. But now, Ratham has gone back in his word and is in the process of releasing the film

in Andhra and at the dismal time not willing to return his 75 lakhs. Hence he had prayed the court to issue a ban on the
