Nayantara not interested with Malluwood :
Nayantara’s skin show and performance have made her popular in Tamil films and she is busy with many films on hand. Even though her role in Raapagal was much appreciated, Nayan is no longer interested in coming back to Malayalam movies at present, waiting for meaty roles that challenge her histrionic talents. We miss you Nayan! Return to your home-state soon!
Veda in Malayalam
Veda, the Telugu heroine, makes her entry in Malayalam cinema with Mahasamudram opposite Mohanlal. She has chosen to be known as Archana, her real name. Though she did not meet with much success in Telugu cinema, she hopes to make a mark with this film since Laya, another Telugu girl who started her career with Thommanum Makkalum opposite Mammooty, is very busy in Kerala filmdom. Incidentally, Mahasamudram has Laya too in a cameo role. The film is directed by Dr. Janardhan. For the first time, Mohanlal plays the role of a fisherman.
