had initially titled his film starring Jeeva as Sivavin Manadhil Sandhya for the catchy abbreviation SMS. The idea behind

SMS, obviously, is to attract youngsters to the theatres. But another film Mahesh, Sandhya


Mattrum Palar played spoilsport, as the team felt that both the names sounded similar. As the similarity between the two

names could lead to confusion among horse opera buffs, the team has changed the title to Sivanin Manadhil Sakthi, which also

time immemorial abbreviated sums up to SMS.
