Gopika replaces Mamta in Keerthichakra
Charming girl Gopika Verma will be the heroine in place of Mamta Mohandas in Keerthichakra. Mamta declined to act in Keerthichakra due to some personal reasons. The story of Keerthichakra revolves around an army officer who fought in the Kargil war. The movie is being shot in Kashmir. Mohanlal is the army officer Javed Hussain, a commando. The movie is written and directed by none other than an officer who fought in Kargil, Major Ravi. The movie has some real-life incidents shot by Major Ravi.
Nadiya back to Malluwood
Who will forget Nadia Moithu? The beautiful actress of yesteryears, proud mother of two now, she is back to work under the direction of her mentor Director Fazil. Though the title and cast have not yet been confirmed, it has been said that Nadia’s role will be good and interesting also. It is to be noted that Nadiya was introduced in to the film industry by Fazil himself with Nokketha Doorathu Kannum Nattu. The movie was a family oriented one and turned out to be a runaway hit. Nadia came back to the industry with a Tamil flick M. Kumaran S/O Mahalakshmi. She played the role of hero Jeyam Ravi’s mother. She doesn’t want to take up any more mother roles just because the movie turned out to be a hit and she has proved that she was a good mother onscreen also. Let’s wait and watch till we know what kind of role director Fazil has offered Nadia.
Padmapriya remebers her paradise
Actress Padmapriya has made herself busy in Kollywood. Her recent release Pattiyal opposite Aarya is turning out to be a mega hit and the movie is ready to be dubbed in Telugu as Gayam. Padmapriya made her debut in Tamil with director Cheran's Thavamai Thavamirundhu, playing the female lead opposite the director himself. But she has not forgotten her homeland also. In between her busy schedule, she has confirmed some dates for director Joemon's upcoming movie. The movie casts none other than Superstar Mammootty himself. Sreenivasan will pen dialogues and will also play a vital role in the movie. This flick will be released on August 15th
Bhavana impresses down south
With her debut in Kollywood with Chithiram Pesuthadi turning out to be a big hit, Bhavana is being offered numerous films by numerous producers and directors. She presently has three movies opposite Madhavan, Srikanth and Bharath respectively .Once she completes these three movies, she will be acting in Naan Kadavul opposite Ajith under the direction of Director Bala. The sad news for her Mallu fans is that there will not be any more releases of Bhavana in the current year. Her last release in Malayalam was Chintamani Kola Case which was a Vishu release
