Actress Nayantara was supposed to perform an item number in Janmam by Joshi. When she reached the shooting spot to start shooting for the song, the crew there informed her that she will be playing a brief role in that movie and she will not be performing the dance. Nayatara was upset and angry at the treatment meted out to her. She immediately packed her bags and left the place in a huff. She is now back in Chennai to complete her commitments there. It is after a long time that Nayan has set foot in her soil. With a treatment like this, will she ever comeback to Malluwood? Let's wait and see.

Actress Navya Nair is found to be busy with her Kollywood commitments. But the petite actress wants to make it big in Malluwood. She is eagerly waiting for the release of her Kalabham. The movie has been produced by Dr.Harikumar under Ananthika Pictures. Anil is the director. Late musical maestro Ravidran has composed music for the film. He has composed tunes for five songs. Lyrics have been penned down by S Rameshan Nair and Vayalar Sharatchandra Varma. Camera has been handled by Ananda Kuttan. The shooting of this movie is going on at a faster pace in North of Kerala. Others in cast are Jagathy Sreekumar, Manikuttan, Thilakan, Gayathri, Bhavani Mohan, Baburaj, Kalpana and Bala.
