Actress Samvrutha made her entry in to Malluwood with Rasikan. Thereafter she has been doing only non-commercial movies like Nottam, Acchanuranghathu Veedu, Pulijanmam etc. The actress has suddenly grown fond of commercial movies. Now that her exams are over the pretty girl is looking for some roles that will really make her prove herself.

Gopika has so far completed nearly 20 films in South. Making her debut with Autograph, she has become a favourite among the producers and directors. She too hasn`t failed them. She has done everything possible to retain her place in South. The actress has spoken in her own voice after Autograph. But in her own woods, Gopika refuses to do so. She has more than twelve films to her name in Malluwood. In all these films Gopika has spoken in the voice of some other person. Laya is soon going to draw curtains on her beautiful career. The young girl is tying the knot on June 14th. The lucky man is a California based doctor, Sri Ganesh. Another piece of good news is that she has completed her MCA also. So, the curtains have fallen on a wonderful and budding career. Laya’s acted in Malayalam in Thommanum Makkalum opposite Mammootty.

All new comers love in Kollywood love to act opposite Rajnikanth and Kamalhassan. Looks like Mallu girls who made their entry in Kollywood long back have got a part of their dream fulfilled. Mallu girls like Meera Jasmine,Nithya Dass, Asin, Nayantara and Vasundhara Dass have been approached by Kamal to act opposite him in director K.S. Ravikumar`s Dasavatharam. The movie has Kamal in 10 characters and looks like they are in need of 10 heroines. According to sources Meera Jasmine and Vasundhara Dass have given their consent while others couldn`t due to a jam packed schedule. Vidya Balan too is said to be a part of the heroine`s list.

 Nayantara is back in Malluwood to do a cameo in Suresh Gopi`s movie which will start its shoot this week. She will appear for a few scenes, but those scenes are said to be very important for the movie. Apart from Nayantara, three other heroines have been roped in. They are Gopika, Samvrutha and Kaarthika. Others in cast are Biju Menon, Cochin Haneefa, Jagathy and Innocent. Script has been written by S.N.Swamy. Coming back to her woods, will be a welcoming change for the young actress as she has been entangled in gossips in Kollywood.
