Nayantara's recent walk out from Janmam had created quiet a stir in Malluwood. The Malayalam Association were all set to show the red signal in Nayan's career in Malluwood. The song and the small role offered to Nayan has now gone to Sada. Sada started shooting in Pollachi this week. Now that's what we call, “one person's loss is another's gain”.

We had earlier mentioned in our column that actress Nayantara has walked out of Joshy's Janmam which has Suresh Gopi, Karthika and Gopika in the lead. She stated that the director had asked her to perform just an item dance in the movie, but when she reached the location, the production manager and writer S.N.Swamy started explaining the script for her. They also told her that hers is an important role in the movie. Nayan claims that she demanded to see the director but they didn't allow her to do so. That's why she left the spot in a huff. Sources claim that she has got the full payment in advance.

She has now got herself into trouble by this act of hers. The Malayalam Cine Technicians Association are planning to show the red signal for Nayan's career in Malluwood. They will be deciding sooner or later whether Nayantara should shine in Malluwood or not.

Navya Nair starrer Saira has made it to the International Panorama of Independent filmmakers. This festival will be held in September this year. The venue is Athens, Greece. The festival will take place between 23rd and 30th of September. The story is all about the different angles to terrorism. The movie has been directed by debutante director Dr.Biju. Actress Meera Jasmine was in news recently. For the wrong reason as always. She had entered the Rajarajeshwari temple in Taliparamba in spite of knowing fully well that non-Hindus are not allowed inside the temple and ladies are allowed only after the 8.p.m. pooja is over. She and the producer claimed that she had converted into a Hindu sometime back. The current buzz is that Meera has sent an apology letter to the temple authorities and has also paid some money to restore the sanctity of the temple.

Looks like actresses are having some problems with regard to Kerala Temples. First it was Kannada actress Jayamala who disrupted the sanctity of Lord Ayyappan after claiming that she had touched the idol of the Lord. The work for restoring the sanctity of the Lord is going on.

Now it is the turn of Actress Meera Jasmine. The actress entered Rajarajeshwari Temple in Thaliparamba on Friday night to offer Ponnumkudam to the goddess. The rule of the temple does not allow non-Hindus to enter the temple. The actress with the help of a producer entered the temple and offered pooja in the name of " Meera, Vishakham nakshatra".

Only after this did the officials notice her and questioned her. The producer who was with her told them that Meera is no more a Christian and had got converted in to a Hindu long back. The temple officials are preparing for a Shuddhikalasham and Punyaham Jalam to restore the sanctity of the temple.
