Kiran in Malluwood

Ignored in Kollywood, actress Kiran has signed a Malayalam movie. She is paired opposite Kalabhavan Mani in this movie. The movie has been titled as Abraham and Lincoln. Kalabhavan Mani will be playing a double role here. Pramod Pappan is directing this movie. This is not Kiran's first movie in Malayalam. She has done some movies here before shifting to Kollywood.
Nayan refuses Santoshi
Queen of Tollywood and Kollywood has refused a movie offered to her by popular Bollywood director Raj Kumar Santhoshi. She says that she has her hands full with movies in Tamil and Telugu. She also added that she does not regret this decision of hers as she is quite busy down south and is happy with the offers she's getting there. The Tamil movies she has in hand are E with Jeeva, Valavaan with Simbhu and Thalai Magan with Sarath Kumar. She has three mega movies in Telugu which is inclusive of one with Nagarjuna.
Karthika goes to Kollywood
Actress Karthika is the latest to join Kolywood after the likes of Nayantara, Meera Jasmine, Asin, Gopika, Bhavna etc. The young girl is acting opposite new father Prashanth (he became the proud father of a baby boy last week) in Pulanvisaranai Part II. She appears in the role of a medico named Samyuktha. R.K.Selvamani is the director of this movie.
She is also busy in her own woods, Malluwood. She has Janmam getting released for Onam. Suresh Gopi and Gopika are the others in cast. She also has Athishayan and Acchate Ponnu Makkal in hand which will be releasing very soon.
Shreya in Kollywood
Helluva girl of SS Music, Shreya Reddy is found to be changing woods too often these days. From Tollywood, the actress shifted to Malluwood where she did her first movie with Mukesh. Now she has landed herself in Kollywood. She will be seen in the Tamil movie Thimiru. Vishal and Reema Sen are playing in the lead role. Shreya has an important role to play in this movie. She can also be seen in director Shankar's home production, Veyyil. Vasanthabalan is directing this movie which has Bharat and Gopika in lead. She also claims that she has got very good roles in Kollywood and all are mostly deglamorized roles. Great Going Shreya!!!
Gopika turns busy once again
A few months ago Gopika was on the wrong side of her film career. She had no offers in both Kollywood and Malluwood. But once her Chanthupottu got released, the young lady has got offers pouring from all sides.
At the moment she has Keerthi Chakra which is expected to make it to the theatres soon. She acts as the love interest of Tamil actor Jeeva. The movie is a bilingual one being released in Tamil as Aran .
The next is Janmam. Suresh Gopi is the hero of this movie. Joshy is the director. Sada is performing an item in this movie. Gopika's character seems to have been given a lot of importance.
She is acting in a Tamil movie titled Emton Magan. The movie has Bharath in lead.

Dileep starrer Don has got its heroine Pooja replaced with Gopika. Pooja herself opted out of the movie and hasn't revealed the reason behind it. The movie is an action thriller by Shaji Kailas. The story is about a village man who comes to the city and falls in the hands of goondas. Later the simpleton turns in to a don. Dileep, who is trying to discover himself as an action hero can utilise this movie well. This will be his first movie with Shaji. Others in cast are Sivakumar, Sai Kumar, Biju Menon, Jagathy and Lal. The movie will be shot in the scenic locales of Kochi. It is expected to be an Onam release.
